The Nationals are one victory from advancing to the National League Championship Series after pulling away from the Dodgers on Monday, 8-3. Anthony Rendon blasted a two-run homer and former Dodger Jayson Werth crushed a solo shot in a win that gave Washington a 2-1 lead in the best-of-five NL Division Series.

It’s the first time the Nats have led a postseason series since winning the opening game of the 2012 NLDS, and they did so by scoring eight runs, the most in a postseason game in club history.
